Women’s Healthy and Fertility
Naturopathy
What Is Naturopathy
Naturopathy is a holistic approach to health that utilises the body's innate healing ability. It combines traditional wisdom with modern evidence-based practices to address the root causes of dis-ease. As a naturopath, I focus on treating the whole person, considering the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of your health.
I utilise a range of natural therapies, including herbal medicine, nutrients, nutritional changes, lifestyle counselling, and flower essences. These are based on your individual needs and aim to support your body's inherent healing mechanisms, stimulate the body's vital force, and restore balance.
By addressing the underlying causes of illness, rather than solely focusing on symptoms, naturopathy seeks to promote long-term health and vitality. It is a comprehensive and patient-centred approach to healthcare that embraces the principles of natural healing, self-care, and the promotion of optimal wellness.
Special Interest Areas
I have a special interest in Women’s Health, Pre-conception Care, Fertility, IVF support, Autoimmunity, Chronic Illness, and Children’s Health.
I have a strong focus and passion for Women’s Health. This partly comes from my own health and fertility journey, also due to identifying a gap in health care in supporting women with reproductive health concerns, trying to conceive, pregnancy support, postpartum support, and even support for children.
Whilst these are my focus, this is still a holistic health focus and can assist with.
To learn more about how we can work together to improve your health.
-
It all begins with you. We focus on you, your health, your history, and your environment. We look at things at are or have been impacting your health and the underlying causes of the dis-ease in your body.
We then look at how we can address and create harmony within the body again, utilising tools that allow your own innate healing ability. For fertility consults, we do this for your partner too.
-
By addressing the underlying causing and contributing factors of ill health and fertility concerns, it means we are not only improving fertility to improve chances of conception, we are also improving your health for the health of the pregnancy and postpartum period.
In doing so it helps reduce preventable risk factors for conditions in pregnancy such as gestational diabetes and pre-eclampsia. More so, it is a process in which you will learn about your health, your body and be empowered to take control of you health and self care now, and for the future.

Herbs are one of my favourite tools in the naturopathic tool kit. They are so vibrant, and traditional yet more and more widely studied and can be incredibly quick acting.
Yes, I won’t lie, they can taste pretty terrible, however, they are truly magical and are always mixed together to suit your individual needs.

Nutrients
Nutrients are so vital when looking at overall health, however, they are one part of a larger concern. Why does someone need so many specific nutrients? Poor absorption? Poor consumption? This is always considered and addressed alongside supplementation.
I don’t love to prescribe lots of supplements however there are cases where I won’t mess around either. Been trying to conceive for 12+ months? Have you been through miscarriages or loss? Going through IVF soon or have had multiple rounds? You bet I will design a protocol that will nourish your body whilst giving you the nutrients to improve egg and sperm quality so that the embryo is of the best possible health and position to implant and give you a successful pregnancy.
Diet
I strongly believe food is our greatest long-term medicine. Making changes to your diet and optimising it to provide you with the best sources of nutrition will assist you in your fertility journey and provide the basis for a healthy pregnancy and postpartum diet too. I love educating my clients, so as part of your fertility transformation, I love to teach you about how and why foods should be consumed, about moderation and food enjoyment and the most burning questions I get, eating well for pregnancy and postpartum.

There is so much more to your health than taking some supplements and maybe changing your diet.
You are what you are around, what you live and breathe in. Addressing the environment you are in, maximising it for fertility, minimising chemical and toxin exposure to enhance the health of yourself, your loved ones and your future family.
